In June, four members of our team made the most of the longer summer afternoon with a well-earned round of after-work golf. We’re happy to report that everyone finished the round in one piece (with only their pride slightly bruised). Owen, Rick, Travis and Scott at the golf course.

Scott is a proud supporter and volunteer of HUGS Hawaii , a local nonprofit dedicated to strengthening families as they care for seriously ill children. He recently volunteered at the organization’s annual gala, themed “Giddy Up for HUGS,” which raised an impressive $213,000 in support of HUGS' mission. Scott and his partner, Katie, volunteering at the Giddy Up for HUGS event.

Our Run Club was back at it again in April. Travis, Scott and Rick completed the Hapalua - Hawaii's Half Marathon. The route was arduous as runners finished the 13.1 miles by running up and down Diamond Head Road. It is great to see our team complete their fitness goals outside of the office! Christina volunteered with Junior Achievement for the first time on March 27, 2025 for a one-day, all-day event at Moanalua Elementary School with the first-grade class of Mrs. Lau. Students were taught economic basics using fun games. The kids were engaged and eager to learn. Pictured are volunteers from our professional organization, FPA of Hawaii. On Dec. 18, as a team-building exercise, all seven of us took an improv class at The Tiny Stage with the founder of Improv Hawaii, professional actor Kimee Balmilero (Hawaii Five-0, Magnum PI, Doogie Kameloha M.D). It was so much fun - we laughed our heads off the whole time! It was also educational, as we learned a lot about how to communicate as a team. Kimee is an amazing teacher!
