Cherise was born and raised on Oahu and relocated to Portland, Oregon in 2018. She was a full-time member of our team for two years right out of high school before she moved to the mainland. We are happy that she rejoined our team as a remote worker in November 2023. Cherise has taken ownership of database management along with coordinating the efforts of the entire team to provide excellent client service. During her time away from our office, Cherise gained extensive experience in management in the food service and grocery retail industries. Outside of the office, she enjoys karaoke, going to the gym, dance class, and creating digital art.

What motivates you to do your best every day? 


Life can be unpredictable and challenging, but we are not alone in the world. Our choices, actions, and interactions all have impact on others. By choosing to do my best with what I have available, I am setting myself up to do better for myself and others each day.


What is one thing you wish everyone knew about money? 


Spending is not a dirty word. You can be intentional with your spending by choosing to support causes, businesses, and communities that align with your personal goals and values. This decision can be as large as a generous donation to your favorite charity, or as simple as where you choose to buy your morning coffee.


What do you refuse to spend money on? 


I try to avoid ATM fees like the plague! I would rather purchase something I need from a store that offers cash back.
