EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY:  Client Relationship Manager - CFP(R) Track

Do you have a real passion for helping others achieve financial independence and security?  Are you seeking a mentorship environment that will provide the proper guidance so you may advance to being a Financial Adviser at your own pace?  If so, Andrews Advisory Associates, LLC may be a great fit for you.  We are a fee-only Registered Investment Adviser firm located in downtown Honolulu.  We are currently seeking a full-time, salary-compensated Client Relationship Manager who genuinely cares about people and loves meeting with them face-to-face.

Qualifications are flexible.  Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's Degree in Finance - or are close to obtaining one.  They have already completed all or most of the education courses required for the Certified Financial Planner (TM) Professional Designation.  They have already passed the CFP® exam or will be ready in the next year.  They may have a year or two of experience working at a bank, brokerage firm or insurance company, but are perhaps not thrilled with the large company environment.  They may be seeking the control over their own destiny that a small, independent financial services firm offers.

Other candidates may have a strong interest in finance and are looking for a career change.  They have extensive experience meeting with people and giving presentations, yet do not yet hold a bachelor's degree and have not completed any coursework toward the CFP® Designation.  These candidates have an opportunity to learn on the job while completing the educational requirements after working hours.  Earning the CFP® designation involves holding a Bachelor’s Degree along with additional coursework that is expected to take about six months of after-work study.  Some college courses may count toward the requirements, which include Professional Conduct and Regulation, General Principles of Financial Planning, Risk Management and Insurance Planning, Investment Planning, Tax Planning, Retirement Savings and Income Planning, Estate Planning, Psychology of Financial Planning, Financial Plan Development (Capstone Course).  See for more details.
